Steelcraft Develops the Sabre Locker for The Army Reserve

The Army Reserve found deficiencies in size and layout of off-the-shelf lockers in accommodating troops’ various bulky kit, but following extensive design and consultation with the team from a local barracks, Steelcraft helped to develop the Sabre Locker. 

 

The sturdy Sabre Locker was built to be larger, stronger, and configured with shelves and rails in all the right places to suit the specific kit that a soldier is issued. 

Fast-forward five years and we have supplied the Sabre Locker to troops across the country and in variations to suit site-specific size restrictions and unique kit requirements for specialist units. We have also used targeted feedback to iterate and improve upon the design and specification. 

This latest batch, supplied at the end of 2023, is a second order for a barracks we have supplied in the past - there is no better endorsement than repeat custom! Steelcraft has built up a workforce from a variety of industry backgrounds, bringing a wealth of experience and skill that is adaptable to the most unique designs and unusual challenges.
